Coyotes lose to the Rangers in devastating fashion

It's not often that you see a "buzzer beater" goal, so I'm going to cover this for all it's worth. It sucks. The Coyotes let a 2-1 lead slip through their fingers on home ice as a Brad Richards puck slipped passed goaltender, Mike Smith, with .01 to go on the clock. The Coyotes showed they were a solid team, but failed to get the win as they lost 3-2. The team is in a small slump that they can't afford since they are two points away from being the ninth seed to the third seed in the Western conference.

Rajin' Cajuns top SDSU in the New Orleans Bowl, 32-30

Brett Baer must have had a crazy, emotional game on Saturday night... You probably have never heard of him, though. The Louisiana kicker missed two early point after attempts earlier in the game, but nailed a 50 yard game winner at the gun to give the Rajin' Cajuns an impressive and dramatic bowl win. Ryan Lindley had a solid performances, but Blaine Gauttier outperformed the NFL prospect. I guess ULL is a pretty solid team after all.

Cowboys still alive for the playoffs, beat the Bucs, 31-15

The Cowboys are still alive for the playoffs as they beat the Tampa Bay Bucs on Saturday Night Football. The Bucs are arguably the most disappointing team in the NFL. I personally picked them to go to the playoffs, but Raheem Morris and the Josh Freeman led Bucs haven't showed maturity. Romo and the Boys got out to two early scores to Dez Bryant and Miles Austin. Dallas improves to 8-6 and will win head to the playoffs if they win out.

Cats pay for slow start, lose to Gonzaga, 71-60

Yeah... I don't blame Sean. I'd be pretty pissed if my team was trailing 49-21 at the end of the half. Arizona was just plagued by an awful start as the Zags got out to a 14-0 start. The crowd in the Key Arena and the second chance opportunities for the Zags prevented the Wildcats from making a huge comeback. Arizona clawed back within 6 points, but it wasn't enough as Zona drops to 7-4.
